RESEARCH ACTIVITY:

CHARACTERIZATION AND TREATMENT OF IWC RESIDUALS: PROCESSES AND ENERGY RECOVERY 

COLLABORATION PROJECT

Main collaboration activity is the study of characterization and treatment of various liquid and solid matrixes coming from Integrated Water Cycles (IWC) to recovery materials and energy. 

A series of experimental and “on the field” applications are forecasted to seek new solutions to optimize process, both by chosing waste matrixes pretreatment and upgrading process.

The aim of the work is to deep topics bound the possibility to recovery materials and energy from IWC.

The work deals with the design of new bench-top and pilot plants, starting from the characterization of the matrices, the simulation and the pilot testing considering actual case study.
